Dongsuk Oh(오동석), Professor


Introduction 

Dongsuk Oh is an assistant professor at Kyungpook National University in Daegu, Republic of Korea. His primary research interests lie in Trustworthy AI and Neural-Symbolic AI, focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and semantics.


He has a background in the NLP field, having worked at Diquest Co. from 2016 to 2018 and NHN Co. from 2018 to 2019. He was also part of the Human-Inspired AI Computing Research Center from 2019 to 2020. Dongsuk Oh earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Korea University in March 2023. After graduation, He was a researcher at KT's Large AI Alignment Project in August 2023.


Heejin Kim(김희진), Affiliated Professor


Introduction 

Heejin Kim is Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Kyungpook National University. He was Teaching Faculty at Florida State University. His research interests include Digital Humanities, Shakespeare, and Early Modern Literature. Recently, he has published “The Proliferation of Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on the ‘Workly’ Character of Writing,” (In/Out 55),  “Visualizing Textual Similarity of Shakespearean Suspect Texts: An Examination of The Henry VI Plays” (Digital Scholarship in the Humanities 36.4), “The Memorial Reconstruction Theory and Chronicles: The Henry VI Plays” (Shakespeare 15.4), and “Revision and Duplication in Early Modern Plays: A Re-evaluation of the “Minus” Hypothesis” (Papers of Bibliographical Society of America, 117.3).


Donghyun Kim(김동현), Affiliated Professor


Introduction 

Donghyun Kim is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Kyungpook National University. He holds a PhD in linguistics, specifically in the field of psycholinguistics, obtained from McGill University. His research focuses on understanding the linguistic representations and cognitive processes involved in speech perception and production, second language speech, and word recognition and learning. He is particularly concerned with how these processes differ across individuals and how they can inform language learning and processing. His recent work has appeared in renowned international journals, including Journal of Phonetics, Language, Cognition, and Neuroscience, and Linguistic Vanguard.
